This project was also funded by the USAID/Ethiopian Support Program and launched to restore broken social relationships and community-level interactions. Training and engaging of executors of restoring social networks and psychosocial support providers were considered as a tool of implementation.

This program is funded by the European Union and Life and Peace Institute (LPI) and aims to bridge social divides, enhance trust and mutual respect, and improve social cohesion to foster lasting peace among through by leveraging holistic and innovative peace-building initiatives namely create a platform for public discourse influencers to have dialogue and change their orientation form stereotypical attitude; provide a platform for students to participate in a peace-oriented theatre performance and recognize peacebuilders who made sacrifices for peace.
This project, funded by Pact Ethiopia under the USAID Sustainable Peace Project, aims to implement interventions necessary to bolster peace infrastructures, increase the roles of women and youth, provide trauma healing, and enhance peace messaging. The goal is to rebuild trust and lay the groundwork for sustainable peace and reconciliation between communities.
Addressing Local Vacuums to Limit the Impacts of Conflict
The project funded by Welthungerhilfe (WHH) aims to see more legitimized local informal institutions, increase women’s participation in peacebuilding, and improve women’s resilience and stakeholder awareness regarding gender-based violence (GBV) through capacity-strengthening training for representatives of informal institutions; broadcasting the stories of heroic peacebuilders on a local FM radio station; train stakeholders on women’s inclusion in peacebuilding; train women on conflict resolution techniques, & peacebuilding strategies; coaching and mentorship in post-training for trainee women; sensitization workshop on GBV among stakeholders and capacity development training to women.
Youth Media Literacy and Theatrical Performance for Social Cohesion
The project funded by Internews aims to enhance social cohesion between the Amhara and Qemant communities through youth media literacy training and theatrical production and performance for the public. By equipping young people with media literacy skills, the project seeks to promote critical thinking, empathy, and understanding of diverse perspectives. The theatrical performances will serve as a platform for community members to come together, share their stories, and build mutual respect and trust.
